Beautifully Kind by Kay

Welcome,

I am so glad you are here, to be honest starting a blog was never something I thought I would do, till one day a close friend said to me I wish there was on place I could go check up on all the things you are doing, and see the cool places you have been. That sparked this light inside of me, this thought, well I wonder if anyone else would be interested in my stories as well, so I put it out there, and I have NEVER received so much support on a post with my community wanting to be able to have the inside scoop on everything, so here we are!

I am a 25 year old who recently quit my corporate job, to pursue my dream of teaching yoga, creating content, and learning to enjoy my life! Taking this leap into not having a stable income was extremely scary, I never thought I would give up that control and stability, however the change and the freedom that has come along with it has been amazing. When one door closes 100 more open, since closing the door of my corporate job, I have seen what has been behind all those other doors, and have allowed myself to break free.

This last year I had the pleasure of marrying my best friend Daniel, I will most definitely be talking here about our adventures and favorite local shops so you can too check them out. Daniel has been my rock, my person for so many years, I truly don’t know what I would do without him, having his support in this journey means so much more than he will ever know. We met working together in a marina in Oakville, almost 10 years ago and now we are married and living our best lives, both doing jobs we love.

Travel is something that I have always loved, and I am beyond excited to start sharing some of my favorite places to travel along with some of the best shops, and restaurants in the area. Traveling to new places can be scary sometimes, going somewhere you don’t know and not sure what places are good or not good. So let me help with that and showcase some of my favorite places I have traveled to.

Along with travel on this blog I will be sharing some of my favorite brands, companies, yoga brands, and all things self care.

To me having a solid self care routine is beyond important, as a yoga teacher and mental health advocate taking time for yourself is not selfish but the most important thing you can do each day. You cannot pour from an empty cup.

This blog will be real and raw, some opinions will be good and others will be honest, I will never share a brand or stay here that I have not personally used or tested! All these posts are unpaid and therefore you are getting my honest opinion on everything.

Thank you for being here, and supporting me on this new adventure, I cannot wait to share more with you all soon!
